On Thursday we’ll be at our local church for our Leavers’ Ceremony and Awards Service. This is our chance to show all our friends and family the things we’ve enjoyed at Primary School before waving goodbye and moving on to High School.

The Eco-Crew set a challenge to all classes to write an eco song or slogan for the school. We listened to some eco songs we found on the internet and worked in teams to write our own lyrics to catchy tunes.

We invited mums & dads and other special guests to our Taste of Scotland concert. We sang songs; recited poems and P7 played recorders. P6 did a funny version of Tam O’Shanter.
We finished by singing Auld Lang Syne.

Today the violin tutor visited primaries 5, 6 and 7. Miss Hans told us a little about the violin and played some beautiful music for us. If anyone is interested in starting violin lessons at the school please contact your teacher. (Primary 5-7 only – sorry )
